窒息乐队于1997年成立，风格以敲击、激流金属为主。乐队音乐追求整体速度与力度，其不乏旋律性。作品主题表现多角度的内容，具有很强的人文色彩，以金属的手法演择自己所要表达的人生观是乐队一直奋斗的目标。窒息乐队作为中国著名的敲击金属乐队，从当年激情四射的青春岁月到现在历经风雨后的沉稳老练，在历经无数次的沉淀与释放、创作与演出之后使他们无论从作品还是对音乐的态度上都渐渐走向成熟。2006年，窒息乐队首张专辑《逆风飞扬》的诞生标榜着一代顶级金属乐队的崛起。窒息乐队曾经经历过规模盛大的一系列演出，成熟的作品与极具煽动力的表演使他们成为公认的最佳金属乐队现场，这使窒息乐队也成为了其他金属乐队在舞台上竞相模仿的对象。

Trash metal band “Suffocated”was found in the year 1997. Their music is aggressive and powerful, also melodic.  They have different themes of music, and the goal of the band is to express their own lifestyle with music.  As one of the most famous trash metal band, they’ve been through a really long and winding road, after all these years, their attitude and their music both became mature.  In the year 2006, the release of their first album “Dead Wind Rising”indicated the rising of a new generation top heavy metal band.  They’ve been performing in countless live show,  and the band is regarded as the best heavy rock live because of the music and the performance, also made the band a stage role model on of lost of other metal bands.
